We have several great Cub Scout events scheduled for the Fall and Winter based on our planning session at the beginning of last Summer.

Everyone is very busy with the beginning of school and I apologize for the delay in getting this information out.

Below are firm dates for meetings over the next few months.

Note that Scout Weekend at Uncle Shucks Corn Maize is this weekend.  We didn’t plan this in advance, but our family is going on Saturday at 2:00 to go see the Blacksmith Guild and go through the Maze.  Contact me if you want to meet up at the event.

FALL 2011 SCHEDULE

September 24-25 Uncle Shucks Corn Maize (Saturday at 2:00?)

September 27, 2011 – Keep Your Body Health and Nutrition Beltloop (Prepare a collection for the Oct. 25 Den Meeting to go over Collections Requirement)

October 8, 2011 – Lowes, Johns Creek – Kids will build a Halloween Monster Machine and create lots of funny monster combinations.  Please register your child for this event – http://www.lowesbuildandgrow.com/ChooseAStore.aspx  This will take care of the requirement in the book for Fixing and Builidng.

October 21 and 22 – Fall Campout (registration required)– Know Your Living World and Cooking and Eating – these two -requirements will be done at the camp.

October 25, 2011 – Know your Home and Community and Display of Collections.
November 29, 2011 – Be Safe at Home  and Family Fun At Home
December 11, 2011 – Meet at the ICE for our Holiday Party – Ice Rink – We will cover Making Choices at this time. (Hockey Beltloop?)

Please note – the activities from September to December  fullfil the requirements of the Den have the boys cross over from Wolf to Bear for the Blue and Gold Banquet.
We will plan out the Spring Calendar in late December or early January.
